Overview

Deloitte UK calls its school and college leaver programmes BrightStart. It has apprenticeships in every major part of the business, from a Level 3 business admin apprenticeship to Level 7 accountancy apprenticeships that include the ACA qualification.

Tech is a big part of it. Deloitte offers a Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions apprenticeship with a BSc (Hons), a Level 4 data analyst apprenticeship and a project management degree apprenticeship.

How big is it?

In September 2026 Deloitte said it was welcoming more than 1,500 early careers starters that year, including 182 BrightStart apprentices. They’re based across 21 UK locations, and 44% (590 people) are starting outside London. Deloitte said it came sixth in the 2026 Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list.

Our tips for Deloitte UK

Our own tips, not information from the employer.

  • Deloitte's programmes vary a lot between business areas and nations. Check the one you want runs where you live: the ICAS route is Scotland only, and some degree routes are in Belfast.
  • Look at which professional qualification each route leads to (like AAT, ACA, CIMA or ICAS), not just the level.
  • Deloitte groups programmes by business area. Read up on what each area does first, and it'll be much easier to choose between routes that sound similar.

Summary

  • Deloitte calls its school and college leaver programmes BrightStart, and took on 182 BrightStart apprentices in 2026.
  • Apprenticeships go from Level 3 business admin to 48-month Level 7 accountancy routes with the ACA or ICAS CA.
  • Tech routes include a Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions degree apprenticeship and a Level 4 data analyst apprenticeship.
  • Some routes depend on where you live, like the Scotland-only ICAS route and the degree routes in Belfast.
